WORCESTERSHIRE WORTHIES!

Although Sir Edward Elgar is Worcestershire's greatest son, there are many others (ladies included) worthy of recall.

The catchment area has reverted to the pre-1974 boundary, which enables people of Dudley, Stourbridge and other locations, formerly in Worcestershire, to be included.

Volumes 1 and 2 now available!

New for 2018 - Worcestershire Women!
Bookings now being taken!

175 not out!

In 2017, Stourbridge CC celebrated its 175th anniversary.
In this presentation, I introduce many famous people (not just cricketers) who were instrumental in the Club's early days.
This talk has been designed to interest non-cricket lovers!

New for 2018!

WORCESTERSHIRE PUB SIGNS

The inn signs of Worcestershire bring to life the diverse nature of this simply splendid county - one of the nation's hidden gems!

SWINGING LADIES

A medley of actresses, harlots, heroines, mistresses and queens who have graced the nation's pub signs.

My most popular programme!

BLACK COUNTRY PUB SIGNS

This sign reflects the Black Country's industrial heritage.

The presentation recalls various trades and industries that are now long-gone - as indeed are many of the pubs!

The FOSTERS OF MALVERN

The stories of seven  brothers who all played f-c cricket for Worcestershire in the Golden Age.

The boys and their four sisters were born and lived at Malvern College, which celebrated its sesquicentenary in 2015.

My long-awaited biography of the family will be on sale!

HISTORY OF PUB SIGNS

This presentation traces how inn signs nationally have developed over the centuries since Roman times.

INNS & OUTS

A presentation of a unique book I co-authored about cricket related inn signs and pub names.

The above subjects are my most popular shows, which can be tailored to your needs. Please enquire about other subjects - I may be able to provide! I am based in Stourbridge and am prepared to travel to addresses within the Black Country and Worcestershire - further distances considered.
